Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has delivered a message to those he believes don't want Indonesia to become a great nation.
He stated that the Indonesian people are not stupid. According to Prabowo, they have always known that there are parties out there who frequently disrupt things.
"We know we are being disrupted, don't think we don't know, we're not stupid, I'm talking to them, please, dear friends, Indonesians are not stupid, we know what's happening", said Prabowo in a speech at the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony for 1,179 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) and 18 National Police (Polri) Food Resilience Warehouses in Jakarta on Friday February 13.
Prabowo did not specially say which parties he was referring to in his talk. He claimed only to knowing who funded and is behind the movement.
Prabowo also stated that the Indonesian people have no intention of interfering with other nations.
"We know who's funding these movements, slandering the Indonesian nation because they fear our strength. We don't want to disturb other nations. We just want our people to live well and we will prove it; our economy will rise up", he said.
Prabowo often alludes to foreign parties who he believes do not want Indonesia to become a great and developed nation. Furthermore, the former Army Special Forces (Kopassus) commander also frequently accuses foreign parties of funding demonstrations in Indonesia. (fra/mnf/fra)
