Welcoming 80 years of Indonesian independence, the Indonesian History Transparency Alliance (AKSI) has warned of the dangers of a "national decline".

Natalia Santi – Amnesty International Secretary General Agnes Callamard visited Indonesia on March 4-7. The visit was part of a global campaign against authoritarian practices that have been increasing in a number of countries, including Indonesia.
