"[It was] regarding the large number of retired Polri officers who are part of corporations", said Greenpeace Indonesia Country Director Leonard Simanjuntak following the meeting.

Shela Octavia, Dita Angga Russa, Jakarta – The Civil Society Coalition is asking President Prabowo Subianto to issue a Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) to cancel the revised Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) which has just been passed into law by the House of Representatives (DPR).

"We are providing input, urging Prabowo to immediately issue a Perppu, cancel this KUHAP immediately because it endangers law enforcement", said Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation (YLBHI) Chairperson and Coalition member Muhammad Isnur in a discussion at the YLBHI offices in Jakarta on Saturday November 22.
