Yogyakarta – Scores of people from an alliance of several civil society groups held a protest action in front of the General Elections Commission (KPU) offices in the Central Java city of Yogyakarta on Wednesday April 24.

They were voicing concerns over the April 22 ruling by the Constitutional Court (MK) which rejected a legal challenge against the results of the 2024 presidential election.

Arif Budianto – Workers in West Java have confirmed that they will still hold demonstrations in Bandung to commemorate International Labour Day or May Day on May 1.

West Java Confederation of the All-Indonesian Workers Union (KSPSI) Regional Leadership Board Chairperson Roy Jinto denied reports that there will be no demonstrations in Bandung on May 1. They still plan to hold an action on Jalan Diponegoro in front of Gedung Sate building (the governor's office).

Abdul Haris Maulana, Jakarta – Supporters of the winning presidential and vice presidential ticket number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, also held an action in the Horse Statue area of Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Friday April 19.

Based on observations by Kompas.com, the Prabowo-Gibran supporters held the protest action on the left side of the Horse Statue, right in front of the National Monument (Monas) police post.
