Jakarta – National University (Unnas) historian Andi Achdian is questioning the government's decision through the Ministry of Culture to revise the history of the Republic of Indonesia.

According to Achdian, it is uncommon for democratic states to write the history of their country. Usually, he said, the country's history is written and interpreted by historians, and not an official state program or project.
