Singgih Wiryono, Jakarta – The National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) has released an annual report (Catahu) covering the last 21 years, beginning in 2001.

Komnas Perempuan Chairperson Andy Yentriyani revealed that based on the commission's records, every two hours there are three women who fall victim to sexual violence.

Switzy Sabandar, Jakarta – The National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) is disappointed that the Draft Law on Sexual Violence Crimes (RUU TPKS, formally the RUU PKS) will not be taken to the final House of Representatives (DPR) plenary meeting for 2021, after which the House will go into recess until next year.

Jakarta – Based on a report by the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) since 2020, the number of reports of cases of sexual violence has risen dramatically during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Komnas Perempuan Chairperson Andy Yentriyani said that since June 2021, Komnas Perempuan has received 2,592 reports of sexual violence.
