Taufiq Syarifudin, Jakarta – Student representatives from Bung Karno University (UBK) and MH Thamrin University who were demonstrating at the Horse Statue in Central Jakarta, have been able to meet with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. They conveyed their demands for action directly to Gibran.

"Student comrades also conveyed their aspirations, be it their complaints from the regions, be it complaints on a national scale, they conveyed them constitutionally in front of the vice president", said action coordinator Muhammad Abdi Maludin after the meeting at the Vice President's Palace on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan in Central Jakarta on Monday June 15.

Makassar – Students from the Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University (UIN) in South Sulawesi have demonstrated demanding that the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka carry out restructuring for cabinet efficiency and cut unproductive bureaucratic spending items in order to save the posture of the state budget (APBN) for the benefit of the people.

During the protest action, which was held under the flyover on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo and Jalan AP Pettarani, the students blocked road access by high jacking a container truck which was used as a place to deliver speeches and the burning of used tyres.

Surabaya – Protesters calling themselves the Surabaya People's Challenge Alliance held a demonstration in front of the Grahadi State building in Surabaya, East Java, on Monday June 15. The action was held as a form of protest against a number of government policies that are considered detrimental to society.

According to CNN Indonesia's monitoring at the location, the crowd, most of whom were dressed casually, unfurled posters and banners with a tone of protest. They also took turns delivering speeches.

Medan – A demonstration by hundreds of students from the University of North Sumatra (Sumut) in front of the North Sumatra Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) took up a number of demands directed at the government ranging from reevaluating the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, budget transparency, to job creation.

The protesters came carrying banners containing demands and criticisms of government policies. When they arrived at the location, they were greeted by police officers standing guard in front of the DPRD building.
