YLBHI slams Prabowo's attendance at Board of Peace meeting in Washington

Eka Permadhi, Jakarta – The Indonesian Legal Aid Institute (YLBHI) has condemned the attendance of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the inaugural Board of Peace (BoP) meeting in Washington D.C. on February 19.

The organisation believes that this has the potential to weaken Indonesia's commitment to upholding international law and protecting human rights (HAM).

Ormat, which was given the concession on Monday February 12, is known to be a US-based geothermal energy company that has business affiliations with Israel.
