Jakarta – Minister of Culture Fadli Zon said that an official project to rewrite Indonesian history would not change the history of the 1965 massacre, often referred to as the G30S/PKI (September 30 Movement/Indonesian Communist Party) or the 1st October Movement (Gestok).

Zon claimed that there is no controversy regarding the bloody history of the 1965 affair that caused millions of people to die as a result of the political event.

Nawir Arsyad Akbar, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto claims that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in which there has been minimal poisoning cases has been a success. Earlier Prabowo said that the number of MBG poisoning victims was around 200 people and this figure is only a small portion of the total program recipients which has reached 3 million people.

"So it can be said that poisoning or those who had stomach discomfort amounted to 200 people, that's 200 or point three of so many million, if I'm not mistaken that's 0.005 percent. Meaning the success rate is 99.99 percent", he said during a cabinet meeting on Monday May 5.

Jakarta – Students who show indications of being Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) in Cianjur, West Java, will also be included in student development programs at Indonesian Military (TNI) barracks next week.

Cianjur Regent Dr. Muhammad Wahyu said that that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cianjur 0608 District Military Command (Kodim) and the Raider 300/Braja Wijaya Infantry Battalion on the development of troublesome students.
