Bella Faqih Fathurrahman – A student fell and almost fainted while taking part in a demonstration in front of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) in Jakarta on Monday July 20.

The protesters from Tangerang Muhammadiyah University (UMT) Student Executive Council (BEM) demanded that the AGO immediately try the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah.

According to Suara.com monitoring, the student fell as a result of pushing and shoving between the demonstrators and police.

The students, who shook and tried break through the fence of the AGO's Bundar Building were blocked by police officers.

After the pushing and shoving had continued for some time, a student wearing a red shirt fell to the ground. Seeing their colleague fall, other students quickly provided help.

However, the student did not suffer serious injuries. Not long after, they returned to join the ranks of the action.

During this action, the students conveyed a number of demands, namely:

1. Demanding firm corruption eradication, transparently and without discrimination in all government sectors.

2. Demanding the realisation of social, legal and economic justice for all Indonesian people.

3. Demanding the enforcement of legal supremacy that is independent, professional and free from interference by political interests or the oligarchy.

4. Encouraging the creation of governance that is clean, has integrity and supports the interests of the ordinary people.
