Deti Mega Purnamasari, Jakarta – The National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) recorded a 300 percent increase in reported cases of sexual violence against women in the cyber world. This is a significant increase from 97 cases reported in 2018 to 281 cases in 2019.

Deti Mega Purnamasari, Jakarta – Incest or sexual relations between blood relatives against girls is the most frequent form of sexual violence. In its 2019 annual report, the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) found a jump in cases of violence against girls with some 2,341 cases.

Jakarta – The Civil Society Coalition is calling on President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to withdraw the Draft Law on Job Creation (RUU Cipta Kerja) which has been submitted to the House of Representatives (DPR). The Coalition is also asking the DPR to halt the deliberations into the draft submitted by the government.
