Jakarta – The Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi) says that 222 illegal palm oil corporations have been granted amnesty or in other words they can continue operating despite not meeting the legal requirements.

Jakarta – The Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi) supports the move by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo to revoke some 2,078 mining business permits which are inactive or "lying idle". This move however, is not enough.

Jakarta – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan says that the government will audit non-government organisations (NGOs) in Indonesia.
Pandjaitan claimed that they will conduct the audit because, according to Pandjaitan, there are NGOs which he alleges are spreading incorrect information.
